About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be better & change my life

ABOUT ME

I am a 50's yo open-minded, frenchy guy who truly enjoy meeting people during travel to open wider my perspectives. I am a photographer and work as a freelance. Consequences : I could work all day a week or according to the job availability 0 hours a day. So if you visit Paris one of these days, I could show you Paris, if you want. or not... I have also the opportunity to travel at any time during the year. My primary goal is making images. Photography is my life but give a little place for other things...

PHILOSOPHY

- Fais de ta vie un rêve, et d'un rêve une réalité. [A. de Saint-Exupéry]
- Make your life a dream, Make your dream a reality. [A. de Saint-Exupery]

-Carpe Diem

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I Like showing people around my "own" Paris. especially the district 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th. I'm really not involved in tourist tour tracks, that seems to be easy to do : just follow the tourist sheep groups climbing the Paris monuments. I'm not in that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not yet, I'm brand new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Beeing alone, at the doors of the morocan-algerian desert at sunset,1995
- Fix the engine of the rented car in the midle of nowhere in Morocco [just have to blow in the air filter, big fear]
- Spent 15 minutes with Nobel Price Elie Wiesel
- Shot Nicolas Sarkozy [with a camera] and François Hollande too.
- Spent Xmas time + New Year's eve in Berlin, 1989.
- slept a night in the tower of a french medieval castle national monument [in a real bed]
- saw a storm coming to me at midnight on the beach over Lake Michigan.
- did a "pilgrimage" to photograph organs instruments in more than 60 churches all around Picardy.
- saw "Madame Butterfly" at the Kiev National Opera, first row. Ukraine
- Slept a night in the desert south of Morocco in 2010, in the middle of sand dunes with 1001 stars.
- saw at 10000ft the moon reflexion over the Sea of Denmark between Malmö and Copenhagen during a so clear winter night. No clouds, no fog, just lights of all the cities around.
- was under a snowstorm for the fist time in my life in NYC jan 2011
- Met a woman two years after I shot a portrait of her : she thank me so much and told me I save her life ; She told me at this time she was close to commit suicide and the print I gave to her let her discover another point of view she had of herself and help her with the psychanalyse. It was the best moment of my life when she said that!
