About Me

My name is Leonardo, i'm 37 years old. I was born, raised and i live in Buenos Aires.
I traveled on my country many times with my friends, for work, or alone meeting other travelers on the road and i did on a bus, on a plane, driving or hitchhiking, but always with my backpack and good music in my ears.
Last long trip was to the Patagonia for 1 month and a few weeks.

I like meet people, music, listen music, try to play guitar, read, walk, spontanaeity, i´m a curious person about all.

I worked as an animal keeper in a zoo, as a parkranger on the mountains and now I work in a media company, back in the city.
On the past i studied percussion, guitar, acting.

My friends say that i'm a fun person, one of those who tell the stories better than anyone.. who knows.

PHILOSOPHY

"A man needs to travel. By his own means, not by stories, images, books or TV. By his own, with his eyes and feet, to understand what he is. To some day plant his own trees and give them some value. To know the cold to enjoy the heat. To feel the distance and lack of shelter to be well under his own ceiling. A man needs to travel to places he doesn't know to break this arrogance that makes us see the world as we imagine it, and not simply as it is or may be. That makes us teachers and doctors of what we have never seen, when we should just be learners, and simply go see it"

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything kind of music

Books: I read a lot of Isabel Allende, the chilean journalist. I have readed Sallinger, Jose Ingenieros, Robert Fischer, Manfredo Kempff, Alberto Fuguet, but my favorite books are "The Ghost Book" by Alejandro Dolina and "Mi pais inventado" by Isabel Allende

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I traveled by hitchhiking, i saw people stopping his car and ask me where I'm going, to see if they could bring me closer to my destination. This gesture from all that people was 100% desinterested and genuine, because that people didn´t receive anything in return for taking me. The feeling when a car stop is incredible for that reason.
