ABOUT ME

My nickname is "Sunshine" because I am usually smiling, optimistic and happy! I am very laid back and peaceful person. I enjoy cooking and baking. I do both excessively when I am stressed or bored. I love to read and I am full of useless information. I am into factoid and pearls of wisdom. I know a lot about a little and a little about a lot. I am affectionate and love to give hugs for the most part no one is a stranger to me. I am patient. I am extremely frugal and excellent at finance. I am a numbers freak and have been referred to as a human calculator. I am intuitive and tend to read people around me. I am nearly blind without my glasses. I love "Life is Good" clothing and products. I have freegan tendencies and kind of despise waste. I love animals especially dogs. I currently do not have any dogs but frequently go to pet shops and the park to get my "puppy fix". I lost my baby "Smoochie" 3 years ago and I am just not ready to have another dog yet. Sometimes my brain is like a pinball machine and my thoughts bounce from topic to topic. I am initially shy but warm up to others quickly. I do not smoke and don't really care to be around cigarette smoke. I am a cancer survivor, a loyal friend, a daughter, a sister, a companion, an ex-wife, and a hopeless romantic. I am an optimist and usually see the glass as half full. I think that is about it. I am sure that I left something out but would be happy to answer questions if you shoot me a message. I hope this helps you to get to know me a littl better. Smiles =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently helping an elderly relative so I am a long term temp here in Pennsylvania and most of my possessions are in storage in Georgia. So, I am unable to host at this time but would love meet anyone for coffee or take them to Rickett's Glenn. I can show you around the area a little but I am not totally familiar with it myself. If needed I can probably feed you with a little notice.

I survived cancer and I lost over 150 pounds on my own.

There were 23 tornadoes the day of my wedding. I remember waking up wondering if God was trying to tell me something. Noone was able to show up to my wedding except the preacher, my mom, my stepdad and little sister. We had many good years together and aer still great friends.
