About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've found the perfect spoon, so the next step is: to live happily ever after.

ABOUT ME

Some say I'm devil, some say I'm cold bitch*, but I'm just a little girl. At least visually; in reality I'm a cronopio. That should explain everything; if it doesn't, here's a short example of how that kind of creature behaves:

Now it happens that turtles are great speed enthusiasts, which is natural.
The esperanzas know that and don't bother themselves about it.
The famas know it, and make fun of it.
The cronopios know it, and each time they meet a turtle, they haul out the box of colored chalks, and on the rounded blackboard of the turtle's shell they draw a swallow.

I studied journalism (I'm a master! ;P) and film knowledge (mastered this one also) and I'm hopeless music addict. I like rusty spoons. I have oxymoronic character (though my psychologists-to-be friends says it's a kind of rationalization of schizophrenia :>). I like weirdness and craziness and strawberries.

*yes, everybody likes me.

PHILOSOPHY

Social constructionism, relativism and bits of existentialism. And I don't believe in nothing. Literally.
Happiness is easy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I don't anymore, sadly. But maybe I'll come back here one day?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed 12 couches (in Poland, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Spain and England)
Hosted 9 times (18 people from Poland, Germany, Denmark, Australia, Turkey, England, Portugal, Hong Kong and Canada).

My favourite experience: I hosted a band! I absolutely loved having musicians whose songs I knew before in my flat ^.^

Looking forward, always ;)

Interests

Faking up, pretending, wandering, wondering, admiring the world, going nowhere, literature, surrealism, manierism, music, film, connection between everything and nothing, going somewhere, silliness, adventures, communication, writing stupid things, Iceland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything I do is amazing, if I want it to be ;)
(yes, I am relativist ;P)

Recently for example I was a member of winner team in 48Hours Film Project (Kraków edition). Here's the movie we've made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D08nvGcfl5E
it's only in Polish right now, but English subtitles are being developed (in march film will be showed in Los Angeles on Filpalooza festival ^.^)

Aaaand, I don't know if it's amazing, but that's my favourite thing I've ever done :D Krakowski Festiwal Nędzy Filmowej, which can loosely translate into Cracow's Festival of Crummy Movies ('nędza' in polich means mailny poverty, but it doesn't have to me material, sth can be intellectually poor; Hugo's "Miserables" in polish are 'Nędznicy; I don't know what word would express is well in English :>). It's basically kind of househeld, friends only Festival during which we watch very bad movies and make fun of them. With help of alcohol and company they can be marvelously enjoyable. There were four editions, all lasted for three days and we have special Awards and all that festival stuff, only in bad quality, to keep it in one style :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot of so called alternative music, obscure bands not much people know about ;P Due to my studies I know also a lot about movies and film history. And communication of different kinds. And, since Erasmus in Netherlands, I can talk about basics of gender theory.
I'm trying to learn playing guitar, so I know few chords :D

I want to learn everything interesting I can ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts
