About Me

I'm building a house. A very big house. It is close to the city center, has at least 34 bathrooms, and 5 stories. Now you must think I'm crazy rich, which I'm not.

We are a group of over 40 people (and a truck load of kids). We planned this project for over 2 years and finally we started to build the basement last week. This project consumes almost all of my spare time, so don't expect me to be a very enthusiastic CS member. But it's temporary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing almost a decade ago with a friend on a massive road trip across the US. Since then things have changed a lot. Married, two kids, settled. These things seemed so far away back then even though it has only been a couple of years. When I started this I was a young student that needed a break from studying.

Truth is I haven't logged on to this site for a couple of years. The reason I came back is a friend who just signed up and needed a reference. I spent the last 30 minutes scrolling through my old profile, feeling partially embarrassed, partially amused. The rest of my family already went to bed and I just felt like writing some lines, so here I am.

Interests

`Attachment parenting` is not really an interest of mine. It just came up as a suggestion when I was typing and I found it funny.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to have favorite music but I'm not listening to music very often these days. My favorite album at the time is `Diggidiggi Bambam` which is also the favorite album of my 4-year old daughter. It's really good!

Same with movies. I wach Disney's `Frozen` a lot. A LOT.

What I really enjoy is listening to podcasts and watching american late night talk shows. I don't think they employ writers anymore. With Trump in office those shows basically write themselves. Hilarious.

My all-time favorite TV show is `Breaking Bad`. It is the best show that was ever produced. It's true. Everyone agrees. It has the best words.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen David Larible, best circus clown ever!

This is the only statement from my old profile that survived. Stil true.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would share my beer with you.
