I'm frank, straightforward, and hilarious. I'm easy to talk to and super friendly. I love trying new things, especially travel. I like traveling both by myself and with friends away from the beaten path.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy. Only you can decide how you feel. I believe so many people are unhappy in the world when they have everything they need because they depend on external sources to made themselves happy instead of realizing they control their own happiness. Life is about giving, and finding happiness in life is about realizing that.

As soon as I have a couch to offer, I'm ready to share my space. In the meantime, looking for people to travel with and host me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only down it twice so far, but I've absolutely loved hearing people's stories and having conversations ranging from the absurd to the deeply philosophical. The open hospitality that couchsurfers offer has been an wonderful to experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

TV: Community (absolutely the most creative show I've seen), Modern Family, Daily Show with Jon Stewart (how else would I get my world news?), and Gilmore Girls (it's like my comfort food).

Books: I love fantasy and sci-fi (If you haven't read Name of the Wind, shame on you).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is going to sound strange, but my grandparents' gravesite. It's located on the side of a mountain in a remote area in Taiwan. It has an almost spiritual feeling.

A lightining storm in Ithaca. There were flashes of lightining in the sky for almost half an hour, but without rain or thunder. I've never seen anything like it.
