Music, Movies, and Books

Music: What ever I stumble upon in a beer soaked bar, out of a cranking soundssystem, filtering from headphones on public transport, across the radio radio, out of car stereos and anywhere else air waves vibrate.

Books: Last Exit To Brooklyn, Tommyland, American Psycho, A Clockwork Orange, Electric Kool Aid Acid Test, Englands Dreaming, Filth, Half Asleep In Frog Pyjamas, He Died with a Felafel in his hand, Junky, Less Than Zero, On The Road, The Catcher in the Rye, A Clockwork Orange, Outsiders,
Plus scriptures by Bukowski, Vonnegut, Noam Chomsky, Keep the Aspidistra flying and other George Orwell novels.

Movies: American Beauty, Apocalypse Now, Back to the Future, Baraka, Being John Malkovich, Blade Runner (directors cut), The Blues Brothers, The Breakfast Club, Chocolat, Clerks, Chopper, Clockwork Orange, Donnie Darko, Fahrenheit 9/11 Dead Poets Society, Doctor Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, Drugstore Cowbow, The Elephant Man, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Full Metal Jacket, Fight Club, Girl Interrupted, The Godfather, Good By Pork Pie, Gone in 60 Seconds, Good Bye Pork Pie, Heathers, High Fidelity, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, In Case You didn’t Feel Like Showing Up, Instrument, Kids, Leaving Las Vegas, Monty Python's Life of Brian, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Mad Max, The Machinist, Mulholland Drive, Outsiders, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Piano, Quadraphenia, Raging Bull, Rain Man, Requim For a Dream, Smash Palace, Spun, Swingers, Super Size Me, That Was Then. This Is Now, This is Spinal Tap, Trainspotting, The Truman Show, Young Guns, The Wall...

Not really inspired by TV - I should stop eating Pattu Curry in fornt of Big Brother - but that will finish of its own accords in 2 weeks. Late night quiz shows and exercise infomercials. That one with the song that goes blab, dah, dah and then... TV is for the weak and useless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sensible career, and picket fence drop out with aspirations of retiring early after amassing a small fortune by writing a novel or getting some one to do a cover version of a an old song and making it famous on the sound track to a mildly successful feature film. I'm happy to mix live bands and make up slogans for T-shirts in the mean time. I like short walks to the shops and collecting vinyl.
