About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to get to know as many different people as I can in this tiny world of ours...

ABOUT ME

well...I was born in Porto Alegre and after a year and a half, I moved to Criciuma. Some may say I'm crazy (which I can't disagree!), funny, smart, open-minded, and many other nice adjectives you can think of; I guess some may not, though! Anyway, you'll figure out and see how/who I really am!!!
I'm graduated in Law and I'm currently working for the government...taxation stuff. I really want to spend a great part of my life traveling and getting to know different people, places and cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Some opportunities come once in a lifetime. don't let them go away.

''He that travelleth into a country before he hath some entrance into the language, goeth to school, and not to travel.'' (Francis Bacon)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

hosting, if I'm able to, surfing, if you're able to, or maybe just a conversation anywhere, anytime :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first experience in 2010, and it was simply amazing! I have hosted some people so far, and they've been also great, each one in its different way! However, I still have few experiences, specially because of the city where I live in, which is not at all touristic! Anyway, my plans are to travel (A LOT), and improve my CS résumé!

Interests

Travel! which gives me the opportunity to get to know different kinds of people and things, such as languages, countries, food, culture, and some others! I really want to see everything that is out there to be seen :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like to watch old movies, western, action, comedy, some tv shows, movies in foreign languages, etc!
As to music, I'm quite ecletic, listening from Chopin, Rachmaninoff an Liszt, to Iron Maiden; from some crappy brazilian music, to heavy/black/death/folk/pirate metal; from italian, spanish, french, russian, icelandic old music, to new ones..so, I'm pretty much open to any kind of music.
As to books, i don't often read them, though I like it very much, specially if it is related to travel, languages and/or history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent my birthday, Christmas and the new year in Paris with my aunt (2007/2008) and we did a four weeks french course there..really amazing.
I memorized practically all the capitals of the world..don't ask me why. haha!
I went to the top of Burj Khalifa, with an outstanding view of the city of Dubai.
Spent one semester in Coimbra, Portugal, as an exchange student, and there I was able to meet and get in touch with people from all over Europe, which can be pointed as the best experience of my life...so far!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach Portuguese and somethings else. Learn everything you are able to teach me. Share all kinds of knowledge. And, of course, travel A LOT, learn as many languages as I can, and get to know as many different people and cultures as I can!!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay
