To meet new people & get a better understanding of different cultures! I love learning about new things!

I think the concept of couchsurfing is fantastic! I love getting a better perspective of an area from a person's eyes- how they perceive daily activities, their experiences, their music, etc. You can learn so many new things by exploring & just walking in someone else's shoes.

Intereses

I am a recent grad who majored in English with a minor in Editing. I spend my time writing, listening to music, and enjoying nature. Reading is one of my favorite things to do; my favorite authors are Ernest Hemingway, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and George Orwell. I love to take my work with me so I am usually carrying around a spiral or a book where ever I go!

I love to read! My favorite authors are Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Ernest Hemingway. The best book, or the best book in my opinion, that I have read thus far is, "One Hundred Years of Solitude." I am open to reading new works from up-and-coming literary authors as well!

My music taste has a very wide range. I like hip hop, indie-alternative, rock, classical, soul, and blues.

In regards to movies- I am a big fan of the classics (Modern Times and On the Waterfront) and horror films (The Birds, The Shining, etc.) I am not big on romantic movies but two that I am partial two are Almost Famous and Elizabethtown.

I was able to see the city of New York which was very interesting and something that I would definitely love to see again! I have been able to go up to the mountains of Pennsylvania and witness black bears in the wild; that was one of the most enjoyable moments of my life.

One of the most recent things I was able to do was tour America on my way to Chicago. My favorite state thus far is Oklahoma...I swear, there are so many old brick bridges there that are so gorgeous! When you visit there in the fall make sure you travel on Rt. 66 in the morning so you can see the fog roll across the fields and watch the sunrise...it was one of the most beautiful things I've seen.

I would love to catch up with some surfers and see how they view the world! Why not meet new people & share experiences? I think that that's the point of couchsurf: to see how other cultures live.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I love to talk about my experiences & travels. I have seen bits and pieces of America! I toured Rt. 66, New York, various bits of the east coast! There are so many things to see in America but I still have so much to see. I hope to expand my travels throughout my life because there is always so much to learn.

I would love to share my knowledge of movies, music, etc. I would love to share my perspective on things and get their perspective on things because people have different views all the time!
