About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Share, socialize, worship life, explore and revel in who and where we are

ABOUT ME

I DO NOT LIVE IN LAS VEGAS ANYMORE.
I now live with my wife, Joni Gold in Hutchinson, Kansas. If you want to visit, call, text me BEFORE 2pm 620.328.2880, my wife, Joni, AFTER 5pm 620.798.2026 or send me a private message on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/biketo.australia) or email... whew!

I am respectful of others, your life choices, beliefs and differences. I rejoice in our differences and learn from other viewpoints. Giving and receiving respect is important to me.

I work to not make messes in the first place and clean them up when that fails. In the same light, I work to consider my words and deeds beforehand and apologize when I regret them or offend.

I write poetry, work on my bicycle, cook and clean. I fix, improve or invent things I need. I often pick up and throw away the trash - I live here, this planet is my home, my front yard.

I can eat a lot of food. I prefer the taste of vegetarian and Asian foods but eat most anything. I like hot and spicy - coffee, soup, curry, ginger, garlic, peppers and more garlic. I make food and some of it even tastes great.

I love massages, giving and getting, male and female. I am confident in my hetro-sexuality, again I am respectful and rejoice in who you are. I write prose and poetry. I love discussing life, philosophy, our choices, beliefs and solutions.

PHILOSOPHY

That takes a long time to share, read my website. http://biketoaustralia(dot)roflforum(dot)net No WWW

My Prose and poetry are the essence of my weltanschauung.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
NEW reasons:
We have the space available and feel comfortable with guests.

OLD reasons
Most of the people I stay with are new to being a CS host. I work hard to make their experience worth repeating.

People I meet along the way ask me "Where do you sleep?" I tell them about CS and all the great people I met. CS and sleeping under the stars are great sleeping options, homeless shelters are not so great.

I work to understand others, embracing people as they are. I share my experiences and myself with a goal of strengthening the communities I touch upon and seeing us all as a larger group of communities. We all have something in common. Life; reality is a miraculous mystery and treasure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A fellow bicycling world traveler told me about couchsurfing. I wish I had known when I had a couch to offer. :)

I recently came to appreciate hosts more. I work hard to be a positive surfer experience for you hosts. Not all of us, surfers or hosts, are like that. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes, for allowing us to become family to each other.

Every one of the CS people I met are exceptional people, together we created a cherished memory, Many of my hosts are now friends.

Interests

Ari - Everything I can learn or share. Lasting relationships. Sharing and creating good times. The mysteries of life. Everyday Magic.

Joni - She is a font of many things, wisdom about raising children, Native American activities and hospice work: wisdom about bringing people into the world, what to do with life and helping people go when it is time to leave life.

We are a strong, experienced and vibrant team.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical, instrumental symphony music is my favorite. Funny music or music that inspires me are also good. I do not mind hearing most music. I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy throughout my life but not much now after living on my bike. Now "the answer lies within" (Cat Stevens)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everywhere I look, from the stars in the night sky to the smallest details of a leaf or rock, from a person or community, Life is breathtakingly beautiful. I (was and hope to someday) riding my bicycle around the world, self-sufficient, self-supporting, environmentally responsible, open to possibilities.

I went to Paracelsus Klinik in Switzerland. They work miracles. They cure cancer, among other things. Read their diet book, "The Swiss Secret to Optimal Health". Diet is the most essential treatment they offer. Then read "Biological Medicine: The Future of Natural Healing", Both by Dr. Rau. I am a believer.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are so many more things I can learn from CS than I can teach. I am one and CS is many. Perhaps the it is a fair trade. :) When one of us grows we all benefit. When one of us feed the fires of life, love and learning we all feel the warmth.

I lived on my bicycle for 2 years, 'on the road' in the USA. I learned to create things I needed or wanted from what was freely available around me. It was not magic, it was hard work but very fulfilling and empowering to create my self sufficiency. My life then was full of good times and bad, some to the extreme. Since then I married Joni, an amazing, capable, resourceful and independent wise woman.

What I Can Share with Hosts
