About Me

I am quite uncomplicted and relaxed, open-minded and tolerant. I like to get to know new people and see the world from a different point of view ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I surfed quite a lot in the beginning of my Erasmus stay in Warsaw, when I didn't have a home there, and I hosted once two lovely chinese girls. As soon as it is again possible for me, I would like to host people :)

Couchsurfer are caring, trusting, open-minded, liberal and so friendly! I really enjoyed my couchsurfing so far and am happy to have met all these people!

Interests

I'm interested in people and their lives, I like nature and animals, I'm interested in art, design and photography, I couldn't exist without music, I would love to watch more films and to have more time for reading books. I like to see new places and discover things, to understand how people act and why.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: (in no particular order) Tame Impala, Electric Guest, Whitest Boy Alive, Erlend Øye, Arcade Fire, Beirut, Caribou, Feist, Foster the people, Four Tet, James Blake, Metronomy, Lykke Li, Pantha du Prince, Peter Bjorn and John, Bonobo, Woodkid, The Black Keys and I love 70ies disco hits, Funk and Soul :)

books from:
Nick Hornby because he really made me laugh;
Oscar Wilde because of his witty and wise words;
Kurt Tucholsky, homourosly and sensitive way of writing;
Joane K. Rowling because she created a wonderful world,
Patricia Highsmith for creating a great character
and many others I can't think of right now

films: unfortunately I'm not a cineaste, but I love films which are sensitive and tell a good story, which touch my feelings and give me something to identify with. All time favorite: When Harry met Sally! I also like Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Good Will Hunting, One Million Dollar Baby, the Bourne triology, Little Miss Sunshine, The Artist, ...

TV series: Ally McBeal, How I met your mother, New girl
