About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the summer

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still trying to figure that part out :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went couchsurfing. Unfortunately haven't hosted yet, but my city is not as exciting for tourists anyway :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was on my first couchsurfing trip in february and march 2010. A friend and I went to New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia and Boston, and it was awesome! So many nice people and such great places.

Interests

Music of all sorts (listening and making; I play the violin and the piano) When I'm lazy, I like to watch dvd (and pretend that I'm not completely wasting my time, because I'm learning english that way...)
I would like to speak different languages, but I'm having some troubles to keep my learning up, that's why I'm starting all over again every three months or so...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to find out about music that I don't know yet. and the main criteria for me to like something is basically a nice melody and/or harmony. So if you want to share something, it's pretty likely I will like it :-) Currently my favourite is Nickelcreek.
Right now my favourite book is "Set this house in order. A Romance of Souls" by Matt Ruff. But that keeps changing. I also like T.C. Boyles "Riven Rock".
One of my favourite movies is "The royal tenenbaums".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in an ice sculpture park in China and went down a slide made of ice. I saw a little boy pee on the street while he was waiting for the traffic light to change.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to learn italian, but I can't do the "rrrrr", so if you know how to teach me, that would be great.
