ABOUT ME

I love travelling and meeting new cultures and languages!!!! I love people, I love to learn from them.
I am from Asturias, the North of Spain, and I have lived in different cities and countries in the last 8 years.

PHILOSOPHY

Para el nómada, el pasar a la vida sedentaria siempre fue el ultimo recurso, una derrota vital, una degradación. No conoce el precio a la hora de pagar la libertad (Kapuscinski, El Imperio)

Here there is an article I have written about: 'What do I get in return, if you stay at my place?' http://blog.cronnection.com/collaborative-consumption/get-return-stay-home/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch Surfing is a great way to travel.... In my opinion, people makes the place... so when you go somwehere is really important to meet people that lives there!

Thanks to CS I had amazing experiences in my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When i was living in Macedonia i hosted a lot of people but not directly throught my CS account. Anyway I discovered it and I traveled with a friend to Kosovo and we both tried CS world for the first time there with an Indian guy. Since there I declare myself super fan of CS.

Thanks to CS my friends and I host a multicultural Christmas dinner when we were living in Morocco, in 2011.
Thanks to CS I had the best new year's ee in Colombia to start 2014. Those are just 2 amazing examples.

I am happy to welcome people home. I like sharing with others and I love when people feel very confortable at my place and they want to stay longer. I appreciate very much guests that are caring, clean, take care of the hosts, help in the cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading. Mostly essais about countries history or political situations. I love writting as well and dream with writting a book myself one day in future.

I prefer independent cinema than American commercial movies, but I am open to everything.

About music I am the most boring person: I can listen the same CD during years and years, everyday (bcs everyday I go around with my old MP3, while walking, my fauvorite activity) and I am happy with that. When going out I can adapt to every music, but in my MP3 re ALWAYS the same singers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday life is something amazing

- Hike Toubkal mountain in Morocco until 4.000 metres
- Volunteering 9 months in Macedonia and learn Macedonian (my fauvorite place in Europe after my homeprovince)
- Travel alone around Morocco and make really good friends there during 7 months
- Live in Sarajevo and participate in the Mars Mira or March for the Peace to Srebrenica (according to the organization we walked 104 km in 3 days)
- Study in Madrid and discover my fauvorite city during 4 years (and to be continued)
- Volunteer in the suburbs of Ha Noi teaching English
- Travelling Colombia while working and enjoying the hospitality of the people here.
-Travelling South America during 9 months with my backpack, volunteering, meeting people, doing interviews for witting journal articles....

Teach, Learn, Share
