About Me

* PLEASE, read my full profile, including the tab "My home". There are some important informations there and with this new ~~terrible~~ layout of Couchsurfing they split the informations.

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is meet as much people and places as I can! :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a Brazilian guy living in Europe.
I want to know new places and people. I'm a quiet and clean boy. And I can cook and make a very delicious Caipirinha! :)

I like a lot to know touristic places, but my focus is the reality of the city. I'll always prefer to do something "off-broadway" with someone who lives in the city I am in, or just follow some tips.

I am very interested in cultural exchange, especially gastronomy (!!!).

PHILOSOPHY

The less stuff you have the less you have to care about and carry around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing, hosting, giving some tips, showing the city for my guests. Once I study art history -and love it- & live in a historical city, prepare yourself to hear a lot of historical facts!
I also go out with the travellers to have a beer, or host a lunch/dinner when I have someone who asks me for shelter properly and showed interest on my profile and lifestyle.

***
I'm always trying to give a full and fast answer for everybody who sent me a request, you know I like treat people in the same way I would like to be treated. But after a LOT of very poor, impersonal, copy and past (especially with a wrong name on the greetings -this is totally unacceptable), empty profiles, more than one surfer per night requests, I'll now just decline this kind of request and focus my time to those who really read my profile and showed some interest with what I looking for a surfer. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
Lately all I have been reading are historical books. Specially about the ancient greek.

***Now reading: "Invisible Romans" by Robert Knapp***

Music:
This is a very difficult topic, because it depends on my mood. I love pop music (like Kylie Minogue, Spice Girls...), MPB (Popular Brazilian Music), jazz and classical music ...

Yes, I am brazilian but I don't like: axé, samba, pagode, sertanejo and Natiruts. Funk, it depends, if I'm in a party and starts to play I will the first to start to dance, but it's nothing something I have on my day by day playlist!

And yes, I know Michel Teló and in the honor of my people and my land I deeply ask sorry for you.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Movies:
I like musical movies. My favorite one is Moulin Rouge.
Also like goofy movies like Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, sci-fi movies, heros movies, historical-full-of-wrong-facts (like "300" and "Centurion") and "big-plans-to-robbery-a-unbreakable-safe-deposit" kind of movie (like "Oceans' Eleven").

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

TV/Series:
I don't watch TV, well I do, perhaps one hour per month but I like series very much, such as: Breaking Bad, Family Guy, Futurama, Xena, the warrior princess, GOT, True Blood, Grey's anatomy, OITNB, Better Call Saul...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job as an advertising manager in Brazil to follow my dream to travel all around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm just like Jon Snow "I don't know nothing" so there is nothing I can teach you BUT I have some knowledge in art history, cooking, advertising, the culture of my people, and how to say some "dirty words" in portuguese! LOL

I would love to learn from you ex-act-ly the same!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I don't have an agenda and not sure what should I write here. This question is very wide, but, allow me to try:

- I can share some breakfast or dinner. I have a nice diet, rich in fruits, seeds, fish and vegetables. So, if my guest also enjoy what I usually have in my place it will be a pleasure to share. But please, don't wait me invite you to "eat" something and feel free to bring what you like. You can use my fridge without any problem! I'm saying this 'cause I have my timetables to eat, perhaps it's not the same as yours. :)

- I also can share my friends, LOL. My guest probably will know some of them. As already happened, my friends and my guest made some stuffs together without me. This is very nice and make happy.

- A clean and perfumed sheets (I look like a hype person, but I'm not. I'm totally a housewife).

- Tips of what to do here in Lisbon. But, please, have a minimum plan of what you wanna see/do here and I will maximize it for you. Don't come over to sleep 'till 2 p.m.! This is annoying and not cool. I have some experience, and this kind of behavior will not please me. :)

- A lot of information/historical facts: Trust me. I'm not shy and once I start to talk I will never stop.
