ABOUT ME

I am from Calcutta/Kolkata, India, but I have spent the last eleven years living abroad. I first did my undergraduate degree (in physics) in the US, and then a master's degree in Paris, France. Currently engaged in a PhD in Chicago. I don't enjoy living in the US so I travel or come back home as often as possible.

I am a physicist by training, but I love the arts more than the sciences. Cheers!

Mostly surfing till date. Some events in town, from time to time. I try hosting when I am at home in Calcutta.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A lot in France, Belgium and Switzerland in the summer of 2012. A little in California, and in the Caribbean. A touch in Italia as well.

Let's see...

My first love was reading.
Around 17, I discovered cinema.
Soon after, I discovered Hindusthani classical music.
Then, I discovered food, art, architecture and photography. And physics and languages as well.

Since then, all I have been doing is seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, tasting, and thinking my way through life.
