About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Going on an Army Course in Australia from October through mid-november and wishing to discover the country for a little while after!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had only good experiences! I surfed in Istanbul, Milano, Rome, Madrid, Paris, Jacksonville & Miami (FL) and enjoyed every minutes with every host we had. In Milano the nice parties with Heloïse and Adam to our 3am's picninc, in Rome the beautiful evening with Giovanni and his friends on a hill, looking at the stars and listening to his friends playing guitar and singing, our last night in Paris, sitting next to the Seine, with the Effeil Tour in the back, picnicking with Morgan, Loïc and their friends, having one of the best time of my life...

Interests

Learning about other countries & cultures
Every sports, I'm not especially good but simply having fun!
Sailing! It's my second passion after travelling but mix both of them and I'll be the happiest person on earth!
Dancing... must me my 3rd passion, not the best but still not that bad! And LOVE merengue, salsa... all those kind of dances... and would like to learn the African style! Looks so natural and fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE Country music! But I also appreciate every kind, mostly enjoying the ones we can dance on, especially latin music

I really enjoy reading (when i have enough time for it)under the sun, just to take time for myself to relax. Last thing I read was the "outlander" serie from Diana Gabaldon and i loved it!

Up to now, the best movies I've seen are "Triage", "127 hours", "Touching the void", "Captain Ron" (there's a long story around this movie for me), "the kite runner", "ladder 49" and "the messenger" (Oren Moverman). Those are the ones coming up to my mind at the moment!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*Climbing fairy chemneys in Cappadocia, Turkey
*Camping on the top of a building under construction in Rhodes, trying to get down with all the builders at work.
*Sleeping in front of the airport in Milan, Italy
*Getting caught by the police twice in 24 hrs! (that's a story to hear... don't be afraid I'm not a serial killer)
*In Chefchaouen (Morocco), sitting at the top of the hill, looking at the sunset, and then having dinner and going up again, talking about everything with my friend and an amazing traveller, looking at the moon set... unforgettable...
*Climbing one of the biggest dune of the Sahara's Desert during our trip in Morocco!
*Taking a skull in my hand and realizing only after that this was someone that lived 200-300 years ago...
*6000km roadtrip down to the Keys and exploring East Coast on the way up

Teach, Learn, Share

*I can teach a little bit of french for whom would like to.
*I can also teach how to do self arrest during winter if you're planning to go climbing mountains(you can look it up on youtube with "autodetencion")

Everybody as something to teach and to learn. That's why CS is really interesting!
