ABOUT ME

Ok, I'll try to tell you something about myself...
I was born and bred in Lucca, I´m graduated in Peace's Studies and I have spent several years travelling and living abroad.
I have studied in Granada (Spain), after I moved to Belfast (Northern Ireland), where I was doing cross-community work with young people.
In 2010/2011 I spent five months in Cape Town, where I was coordinating a group of young people at Bush Radio, the mother of the community radio in South Africa!

After those amazing experience, I decided to come back to my hometown, Lucca! Here I have changed completely my professional path and now I'm running a Bed and Breakfast close to the historical centre of Lucca and I'm managing several properties in this area.
I have decided to convert my place in a Bed and Breakfast because I enjoy meeting people from all around the world and this time I don't even have to move to meet them, they are just coming to my place, Love it!

PHILOSOPHY

What is better: live the life that is constructed for us or risk to find our own way?
La libertad que sentimos y las personas que conocemos en los viajes hacen nuestra vida mas hermosa!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Uno dei miei compagni di casa a Granada (Spagna) faceva parte di CouchSurfing e abbiamo accolto molti viaggiatori.
A Belfast ho potuto ospitare solo poche persone perchè il letto si liberava solo quando uno dei miei compagni di casa se ne va per qualche giorno!

One of my flatmate in Granada (Spain) was part of the CS' community and we hosted a lot of travelers.
In Belfast I could host only a few people because I had a free bed only when one of my flatemates was away.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

La mia esperienza è stata quasi sempre molto positiva. Credo che sia una grande possibilità di viaggiare economicamente e conoscere persone provenienti da tutto il mondo. Viaggiare da soli senza sentirsi troppo soli!

Interests

Musica, film, yoga, meditazione, suonare, leggere, fare delle lunghe passeggiate nella natura, cucinare, viaggiare...

When I was travelling in India I went in a temple where people were venerating rats...have a look at the picture if you don't believe me!:-)
