ABOUT ME
I am an Australian born citizen of the world, and my heart and soul belongs everywhere. I believe that humans are meant to live freely - in harmony and balance with all other life forms. I aim to live simply, in balance with nature / the earth (outer freedom) and in the present moment as much as possible (inner freedom). This means minimizing my environmental footprint, with few material possessions but a lot of life experience.

I am currently living in the beautiful top end of Australia, living and working Indigenous people - working and learning on country. Throughout 2016, I traveled and volunteered through Europe and North America with my 13 year old daughter, working and learning on sustainable farms and off grid properties. Before this, I was living in India for 5 years with my children, developing and implementing sustainable development and women's empowerment projects. What a beautiful, crazy, intense, incredible, overwhelming and stunning journey our life has been.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have travelled extensively (both alone and with my children) and love opening my home and meeting amazing people through CS. I love staying with hosts as I feel like I get to see a more authentic side of the country that I'm staying in. CS has opened my heart and broadened my mind. I have had the most awesome couch surfing experiences, both as a host and as a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love opening my home to the world. I have also surfed with a bunch of amazing people as I travelled in India, America and Europe. Its been an incredible experience for both myself and my family. Every person, both surfer and host, has brought something new to my life - it's wonderful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All of life is intensely amazing....I have been incredibly blessed to experience some of lifes most beautiful moments...the Taj Mahal at sunset, skydiving over Queenstown, trekking with my sons through remote Thailand, walking the Great Wall of China, crossing the Himalaya's, trekking to Mt Everest Base Camp with my son, holding hands with the Dalai Lama, driving over the highest road pass in the world....the list goes on.
