About Me

I can only consider CS requests that are sent a couple weeks in advance. Also I don't respond to requests sent via messages.

=============
I am a free-spirit. Sort of like a hummingbird. I'm there and then I'm gone in a flash, but I'll always come back for some sweet sweet nectar.
Time is my canvas, thought is my brush, emotion is my paint and my life is my art. I want to live it, feel it, and endure every breath of it.

I love art. Consuming art, producing art, analyzing art, experiencing art...just about anything to do with art. I enjoy making videos. I feel like videos are the best medium to communicate a message in a clear and concise way and that's why I want to be a documentary filmmaker. I want to take what I learn and communicate it to the public.

I'm experimental. I love to try new things. I like meeting new people. learning new stories, learning new ways to live, cooking new recipes, rearranging furniture, trying on funky clothes, wearing wigs, humming new tunes, and the list goes on...

I participate in a vibrant electronic music/hip-hop community in Vancouver. I coordinate underground shows usually as a curator or a VJ. I am VERY.. I cannot emphasize this more.. VERY into listening to music. I'd love to share some music with you. Travelling and artistic collaborations with producers/DJs/visual artists/photographers has allowed me to become exposed to so many different kinds of niche music/art scenes around the world.

I've spent a last few years traveling. I went on university exchange in Brighton, UK and backpacked around Europe. I also did an internship in Uganda a few years ago with and HIV/AIDS NGO and did quite a bit of community work in the villages. During the winter time, I visit my family in Taiwan and Shanghai. In the recent years, I've been spending more and more time in Shanghai engaging with its art scene during the winter months (when video production work is slow for me).

Although sightseeing is nice, I'm much more interested getting to know people and their stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have 15 of my best friends take turns shaving my head until I was fully bald as a performance piece and a collaborative rebirth.

Teach, Learn, Share

Inhale and don't forget to exhale. Let life be light as air. Let love be light as air.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to practice yoga, cook, talk about culture and society, share music, and take photos as well.

You can ask me anything related to video production.
