CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is just to get out and see the world. I want to prove to myself that I can do it, just me, and enjoy it. I have lived safely my whole life safely but I'm branching out (and not even that far - yet) and learning to love it.

ABOUT ME

So much I could say I don't know what to say. I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and have not really traveled around the States yet - maybe when I retire. My parents were born and raised in Ireland so I have traveled there many times and do not have a southern accent - just a normal american accent. I love talking - to anybody - and love discussing things, sometimes passionately. I also love cooking especially for others.

I have yet to have a couchsurfing experience but I plan on changing that soon.

Centres d'intérêt

I love being outdoors and being active. Hiking, swimming, skydiving (haven't done that yet), strolls, running in the rain, watching the sunrise/set, just being outdoors. I also love ultimate frisbee. Eating - I enjoy a good drink with a good meal and talking.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like most music except metal and country. I just started listening to Florence and the Machine, I love the Avett Brothers, Regina Spektor, Kila, Gaelic Storm, Eddie from Ohio, fun., Ben Folds, Fleet Foxes, Ra Ra Riot and many many others.
I have read many books that I have liked and disliked and love discussing all of them. Some favorites are: Life of Pi, Cloud Atlas, Count of Monte Cristo, Interview with the Vampire, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, plus so many more.
As to movies, I have seen a fair few but I have yet to see many movies that I would probably love. And I do love watching movies.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have to yet to visit the Grand Canyon or see the Northern Lights but just watching the sunrise over the beach, or seeing all the stars on a boat in the Galapagos Islands are unforgettable experiences.
