ABOUT ME

I was originally born in Guyana, South and moved to the USA when I was 7 years old. I am 22 years old and one of my biggest dreams is to take a road trip (preferably on a bike) across the USA (Philadelphia to California). In 2009, I lived 4 months in Rome and traveled all over Europe and North Africa. Being there thought me how easy and important it was to travel and to experience new things. I want to continue this trend now that I am back in the USA.

PHILOSOPHY

I am interested in everything, but here are just a few:
- Photography (just walking around and taking pictures)
- Checking out shows and musicians
- Trying new food and drinks
- Road trips
- Hookah

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of right now I do not own my own place but I am always ready to get a drink, dinner or anything for that matter. I love meeting people from all parts of the world and showing them new things. I plan to participate by simply sharing my knowledge and drive for new adventures.

Movies: I watch a lot of horror, A&A, mystery, martial arts, war and anything else with a good story line.

Music: I come from a Caribbean country so I love my Reggae music! But I also listen to wide variety of other music. As long as it sounds good I listen to it. To name a few: Disptach, Maroon 5, Eminem, Mos Def, Owl Cityâ

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The first thing that comes to mind is my trip to Tunisia. I spend a night in the Sahara dessert and for several hours I laid on the sand with a few close friends and starred up at the most amazing set of stars I have ever seen in my entire life. There were no ambient light, nothing to disturb the absolute blissful silence! I felt so peaceful and relaxed. After laying there I was able to pray on the sands of the Sahara facing the kiblah. This moment I will never forget!

I don’t really have any special skills or artistic abilities but I am pretty good with my hands and I can help fix/build things. I want to learn how to become a better photographer and also how to play the guitar and drums…
