Hi! My name is Yana. I was born in Russia, grew up in Los Angeles, and now live in Canada. I have two beautiful furry babies named River and Marlow. We love to go on really long walks in cities and explore all that there is to see, the old houses, the cozy coffee shops. We are currently on a Zero-Waste Tour of the USA. We are going from Frelighsburg, Quebec to Los Angeles, California, and back!

I loved traveling with CS almost ten years ago!
It's great to meet amazing people and travel across the country, while discovering new places.
The knowledge and the care that locals bring to each of their cities is what I love most. Seeing the city with a stranger, who ultimately becomes a friend!

I love to travel, as can probably be gathered from this profile! But that's truly my biggest passion.
I love all animals. I love helping people. I love eating food.
I've recently gotten into photography and video-making.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE to dance. Any dance, but I currently dance Swing, Rockabilly, Lindy-Hop, Salsa.

I love a lot of different types of music! Anything from folk, pop, rock, to tropical deep house.
Movies? LaLaLand is my most favourite move ever. I love comedies, easy movies. Movies about traveling and adventure.
Books? Candide by Voltaire, Harry Potter, Lord Byron, kind of whatever I find interesting, I don't have a preferred genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked around Europe!
Traveled through half of Russia in a cargo big-rig.
I learned English and French, and now Spanish and Italian.

I can help with advice on how to live a more Zero-Waste lifestyle, how to travel on a budget, animal-related stuff, a bunch more maybe, but nothing in particular that I can think of!

Food! Stories. I actually love listening to stories, so I like to provide an ear.
Company for awesome walks around the neighbourhood.
I can teach you some French? I learned by speaking, so teaching is shaky, but I can do my best!
