CURRENT MISSION

It has always been my desire to travel, but, I have never had the opportunity, and I love meeting new people, I am glad to have found this site, as it seems to be a way for me to do both.

ABOUT ME
I am a widow since 2012, I am also disabled, but I am still able to drive and for that I am very greatful.

First and foremost,I love the Lord Jesus Christ, secondarily, I love his people, esp. the ones who have his spirit. I look forward for opportunities in which to share my experiences with others, as well as to encourage anyone who is interested in getting to know him. I love animals of all kinds.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, laugh & love...not sure who coined that phrase, but, it fits what life is truly all about. I spent the first 1/2 of my life working, now, I want to learn how to relax and enjoy myself. I think we are all brothers and sisters on planet earth, and if we learn to love one another, the world will have to be a better place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, by trying to learn all about the different functions of the board, how to respond, how to navigate the system, learning about the differing groups, etc. and responding when someone sends me a message. Also, by telling others about the site.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driven across country by myself.... Ky to Ca, and about 1/2 way there I had to stop and ask myself, what I was doing, and have a little pity party, calling home to talk to a friend, to get the courage to continue the trip. I did, and will be forever glad. I met wonderful family that I had never met before, and loved every min. of it. Hope to be able to repeat that adventure again, thru this group,possibly, only to diff. locations.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes, I agree totally. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and by working together, we can all become stronger. No one has it all going for them, and we can all learn something from each other. Just be open, and honest and friendly and let it happen, it will.
