About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I live my life and let and help others live theirs.

ABOUT ME

Trying to describe myself is something I find most difficult to do. I'm rather a calm guy, a fist-think-then-speak type. I struggle to kill all routine that sneaks into my life, try new things. I've been living in Krakow for several years now, loved that city immediately, can spend hours just roaming the streets. Yet, there's always a piece of thought about another journey. A 'mountain phase' (or two) is a must every time I go to places. That is after my two visits in Romanian Carpathians, which are simply extraordinary.

PHILOSOPHY

A glass is always half-full not half-empty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've mostly been a surfer, had a chance to host someone only once. But hopefully that will change some day. The couple of times I met people from the places I visited made each trip much more worthwhile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All hosts that let me in and all surfers I hosted were a bunch of great people that I will never forget.

Interests

As to sports: tennis, swimming, running.
As to travels: hiking as well as hitchhiking, mountains, forests, mountains, tents, mountains and mountains
As to spare time: movies, partying, being lost in nature in the middle of nowhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely addicted to movies, best of all - those directed by Tarantino, Aronofsky, Bergman;
Music and books - Lately most often listen to rock and electronic (but closer to pop than techno/house). Quite impressed by Tool, Archive, Klaxons, Arctic Monkeys. Novels about worlds not exactly matching our own - fantasy, sci-fi (Card, Orwell, Lukyanenko).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Guess that would be my hitchhiking journey around south-east Europe and Caucasian Asia. More than a month of feeling truly free, with no idea what would happen the next day and with no plan for it. All people I came acroos and all I experienced was simply extraordinary, will never forget it.
Also, some plans for even bigger thing exist.

Countries I’ve Visited

Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Monaco, Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
