ABOUT ME

I like this sentence: "You can include anything at all". Ok, lets do it!
First of all, hi to anyone and everyone who is viewing my profile :)
Hello! I was born in Lithuania, in the city of Klaipeda - which is the best - but have been living in Aberdeen, Scotland for a long time - since 2005.
I love to travel (surprise, surprise!), it's important for me to experience other countries as well as their cultures. After all, the trip is so much better when you aren't one of the tourist crowd and locals view you as one of their own.
I love films, music (and it's even better when it's live), people. I love to talk and socialize :)
Hmm funny, friendly, passionate, life-loving, easy-going person but I do sometimes have not so positive moments to be fair. That's another thing, I am VERY honest.
Well, time to go fill in those other blank boxes.

PS - I HAD A VERY BAD FIRST NIGHT EXPERIENCE WITH A HOST IN LOS ANGELES - THE GUY WANTED ME TO HAVE SEX WITH HIM. WHEN I DO SUFR YOUR COUCH, PLEASE, TREAT ME WITH RESPECT. I AM THERE TO ONLY SURF YOUR COUCH - NOTHING MORE. PLEASE, DO NOT HIT ON ME AND PUT ME INTO UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATIONS. THANK YOU :))

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once so make the most of it!

I never regret anything I've done, only things I haven't done, haven't experienced and watched the moment go away.

Also, one guy had this in his profile:
It is better to waste money than time; you can always make more money ;) Sooo true!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Heh surfing people's couches :)

Spreading the word to other people

Meeting fellow couchsurfers for coffee and cakes
and

Trying to convince someone to be my private spanish tutor... :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Aaa...has been mostly positive but the first host ever was an asshole! He tried me to get to have sex with him and would not take no for an answer for a loooong time! So please, don't make things akward, do not try this with me. It's not gona happen.

Other than that incident, everything has been great! I have stayed with some amazing people in the States, have met some amazing people to capm with at Coachella festival, have met some amazing people here in Aberdeen :) I love you all :)

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favourite sections :)

Music - love open air festivals, the full process of them. Shopping for tents and sleeping bags, getting there, setting up a tent and opening that first can of beer, meeting people, the heat, the waether oh and the music. It is so much better live. Yep, even taking into the consideration that there are long shower and toilet lines, mud, dirt...it's all good!
Music styles range from heavy metal, to classic rock, to old school pop, to jazz, r'n'b, hip-hop, finishing with modern dance.

Fauvorite books up to this date have to be 'Insulted and Humiliated' by Dostoyevsky and 'Master and Margarita' by Bulgakov. I enjoyed 'M&M' so much that when visiting Moscow, I made sure that Partiarshiye Prudi and Nehoroshaya Kvartira Nr50 (places where action is set) were one of the places to be visited.

Movies? Cinema happens at least once every two weeks, so many films that were seen. Favourite movie? Mmmm the winner is - 'Homeroom'. It is a low bugdet independent movie about school shooting in America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went to Moscow, I visited places from 'Master and Margarita' - wow! My fauvorite book and writer, it was fantastic to see where the action happened in real life.
The body of Lenin on the Red Square.
Two skydives (one of then on 4th of January with -20'C).
Joined CS.
Went to America and Portugal without knowing anyone there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Lets think. It would be great to meet open minded people who could broaden my horizons even more, in return, I would very happily do the same for them.

I can teach you some of the languages that I talk and maybe something more. Ask me, I might know it :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Latvia, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United States
