ABOUT ME

I am a 30 year old teacher who is not ready to grow up and settle down. I will one day but at the moment I am happiest travelling with my boyfriend Simon and exploring the world. He is English and I am Australian so some of the travelling involves us looking for a place to settle down in eventually. But in the mean time I am loving being with Simon away from the daily grind and doing whatever we want to.

PHILOSOPHY

What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger is one I have had for a long time. However I am beinging to add to that the idea that if you dont learn from your mistakes you will do them over and over again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started Couch surfing when I was living in Vancouver. It was the first place I surfed and the first place I hosted. I love the fact I am still in contact with the first people I surfed with. I have had a great time meeting people from all over the world. I have lived with amazing people that I met through couch surfing and dont plan to stop any time soon. Having just moved to Sydney it has really helped get me and us out there socialising.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far everything has been great. You may not always meet people you are best friends with but everyone has the same outlook on life and there is so much you can learn from each other.

Interests

Reading, history and learning. Also love walking on the beach or on a dirt path experiencing nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sci-fi, Fantasy and Terry Pratchett. And any other bbok really. I dont like scary movies. And any music I can sing to. Thats would sum me up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat on an Ox cart at 10 at night in winter in Mongolia. My toes have now forgiven me but I have never seen a country more beautiful. Made it to 5000m in Nepal. And quit my secure job to live my dream. Really proud of that one.
