ABOUT ME

I am a woman, living in the center of Utrecht.
I am working as sculptor in Stone in my own studio, where I also work with a sculptor collective and where I give classes and workshops in making sculptures in Stone.
I worked as tour-leader in South en Middle America for 6 years.
I love Salsa dancing, go to Flamenco music meetings, having diner or a drink with friends, and go traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

Never to old to learn or make a new experience, I like to try new things, enjoy the day and look forwards to the next what it will bring new.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am member of some groups in Utrecht. I can offer a couch wen I am in Holland.
And show you around in the city of outside.
We can have a coffee or a drink together. If you like you can share my atelier with me and make sculptures or other creative things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my couch surfing experience where really great. In the time that I was at home several nice people surfed my couch. Its like traveling even when your at home.

Interests

I like to travel, to meet people all over the world and to learn from each other. One of my jobs is being tour leader in South en middle America.
I like Flamenco en Salsa dancing.
Being creative by making things, love making sculptures in Stone, going to a museum, a movie, to hear a good salsa band, walking in the nature, sealing,have a dinner and a drink with friends, i love the unexpected.......

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read, but it depends on were I am or what I am doing at the time,art, detective, live story's , history.. Music is for dancing like the Salsa and the flamenco music, the rest is back ground.
Movies,no horror or war movies,but some action is o.k.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a lot in my live, and I can find small things
very special to. It does not have to be big to be special. Meeting a new person is sometimes just as special as a dive in a big ocean.

Teach, Learn, Share

I had a puppet theater for more than 10 years and know a lot about that, so I can share my know how.
At the moment I am a sculptor working in stone and if you like you can stay and work with me in my atelier.
I also work now and than as a cook or as a assistant cook in a world kitchen.
