ABOUT ME

Numero uno is TRAVEL and endless new experiences. Adrenalin is a must have. I love animals, especially wild animals like wolves and sharks. I could never live far from water, I am Pisces and I feel at my best in water. Scuba-diving is my passion though I have many more. I hunger for education, I can´t stop wanting to learn something new. Photography and action sport is a good combination. I am a borne traveler and have been on the road for as long as I can remember, even though there have been brakes between storms. Last long trip was 13 months in the Sout Pacific including working in Fiji for 3 months for some shark research with the local Bull shark population 🦈, swimming with whales in Tonga 🐋, 3 months in a van in NZ 🚌 and working on a farm in Australia 🦘, and this all happened after COVID.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Finally I have a place of my own to host at. At this particular moment in my life I am taking on some grown-up responsibility like paying mortgage and taking care of my little family (man and animals), working a steady job and cooking at home. I would love to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

non so far, but my sister and friends have. And even so that makes me no stranger to pull out couches at a fellow travelers house ;-)

Interests

Diving (that is a must in ANY place), kayaking, cliff-jumping and really any water activity. Nature, wild animals, local food and traditions. Skydiving, motorcycles and adrenalin sports. Film, music, photography, drawing, comics, dancing, writing, planning adventures and so much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Total movie buff: love the classics but can gulp up nearly anything, Tarantino has a spot in my hart but i am a silly big fan of Animation, not just Disney, Pixar and Ghibli but they are goood. Music: all that makes me feel good. Books: love adventure and crime, am a grate fan of the good old Roald Dahl, André Franquin, Georges Prosper Remi, Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Jane Austin, but for more resent works I cant get enough of Neil Gaiman, J. K. Rowling, Stieg Larsson, Camilla Läckberg and variate of other Scandinavian crime writers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dive in the vicinity of sharks 🦈 all over the world 🌍, White sharks in South Afrika, Whale shark in Panama, Hammerhead in Hawaii, Leopard- and Zebra sharks in Thailand, Bull sharks in Fiji, Tiger sharks in both Hawaii and Fiji and so many more! I absolutely ❤️ love visiting their underwater kingdom.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teachers (not just the educated ones) that passionately love what they teach (preach) with animation inspire me, and that is how I try to sheer my travel stories and experiences . I have traveled the world but Iceland, my home country, has not been left out. I have specifically gone the whole circle in the only purpose to stop at all the natural hot pools around the country, and there are many. Sometimes I had to bath three times a day :-) If you come here this is the thing you can´t leave with out trying, at least one, and I would gladly assist.
