ABOUT ME

Hola everyone! As you've probably figured out already I'm from Paris and I've been living there for most of my life. However, I love traveling, discovering other cultures, see the wonders of nature ... and when I felt I was not going to get all of this from an office job I took my backpack, my uke, and my smile (that's the most important of the three!) and left for South America where I ended up traveling one and a half year! This has probably been one of the best decisions of my life :-)

Now I'm back .... until the next trip!!!
And until I set my backpack for another part of the world I'd be happy to share with you a bit of my life in the city of lights!

Of course I love traveling! I love to meet new people, hear their stories, learn about other cultures and share my stories too.

I love nature even though I am from a big city and I'm never as happy as when I'm walking for a few days in the wild surrounded with great mountains ... which doesn't mean I will not also enjoy a good night out in a bar having some good drinks :-D

I think life is too short to be sad and invent problems where they don't exist. That's why you will probably see me all the time with a big smile on my face. :-)

Do you have any crazy idea? It's very likely I might say "Yes, let's do it!"

Interests

Love to travel! I have been to quite some places and really need to find a way to visit every places on earth!

Likes to go out hicking when it's possible (and if it is somewhere wild and remote, even better!)

I took a lot of interest in photography during my last trip in South America. Not the new Doisneau yet but I hope to do more and more cool pictures.

Also like people, art, music, drinks, going out, beer, otters, unicorns, writing stupid stuff in the interest section...

Music, Movies, and Books

Broad taste about movies but if I had to name some of my favorite I would say any of the movies from: Joel and Etan Coen, Woody Allen, Quentin Tarentino, The Monty Python, any movie with Chuck Norris because I don't want him to kick my ass in case he reads this

Likes a looooot of different styles of music but my favorite style is gypsy jazz guitar, please stop reading my profil if you don't know what it is! No just jocking! Try to google Django Reinhardt for example and listen to some tunes, really brilliant!

I play a little bit of guitar, mainly gypsy jazz currently, at least I'm trying! Not that easy to learn!
I also play a little bit of ukulele and travel with it because, well, it's smaller than a guitar!

I try to read as much as possible and lots of different stuff. Some of the author I read and enjoyed: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Luis Sepulveda, Eduardo Galeano, Dostoievski, George R. R. Martin, Jack Kerouak, Sylvain Tesson ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ride a bicycle all the way down the Carretera Austral in Chile, travel in South America for a year, see the Salar de Uyuni, climb a mountain ... what's next? :-)
