ABOUT ME
Back and forth great deal between South Africa and Germany. The former country place of my spirit and the latter, is my reality.
I came to visit and help my children with their newborn, now they have3 kids so I'm staying for a while, renting a small flat which I share. Fitted out the flat with what I need from the dump/recycling or acquired whilst helping friends move or clear up home.
I am mentally and physically active and move fast, mostly cycling here, when in SA lots of hiking and swimming.
Been a WOOFFer many years, also lived and cared for homes, people and farms in the outback of southern Africa. In Europe lots of house and pet caring sitting for friends.

PHILOSOPHY
Live to the full, make mistakes and learn from them. Laugh, sing, love and dance. Life is for sharing, having fun and being crazy.

COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE
I will rather visit a person than a place and muck in with what needs to be done.
Keen to house sit or exchange. At my home in SA I have exchanged good experiences , except for 1 group of party girls. So I do live and wish to visit people of all ages living in a mess, mentally or physically.

My interests include most things that are related to living and loving, how/where, what people do, what makes them smile or have fear.

I love most music except Techno.
There are great authors and interesting books/movies that remain imprinted in my mind yet I generally don't have favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

deciding to bring my children into this world in my way............. no hospital, doctor or midwife.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is such simple pleasure in sewing, cooking, shaping my own space with the abundance that surrounds me. I have done mosaic and wood work, pottery, weaving, growing vegetables, designing in and outside, literally building and plumbing.
Then there is the challenge of living happily with little money and material wealth yet not forfeiting beauty or comfort. And there is sure to be plenty yet to be learnt from others, so come and teach me your way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can listen. If I am looking after your house or pets then I will invest my time with that. I will leave your space clean and your animals content.
