About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To set my foot on the soil of many countries.

ABOUT ME

I am a pretty laid back person. I like to learn new things, and you can bet I will be down for seeing the local side of town and the backstreets just as much as any tourist flooded site. I am not very hard to please, and I stay humble, and am humbled by the world around me and the people in it.

I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of groovy people in my life, and I am looking forward to meeting many more and sharing stories!

PHILOSOPHY

Live. Laugh. Love.

I had a whole bunch of paragraphs typed here, although you couldn't have known; and after doing all that and seeing it and re-reading it...i saw that it can simply be said in those three words. My life has a simple formula, seek out what feels right.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, i am new to CS, so i guess i don't do too much yet. I am looking forward to really making use of this project! And to being a part of making it work, accomplishing it's vision and purpose - it's really no work at all to do (:

I will be hosting at my house whenever i can. And i am working on getting verified right now; i just wanted to complete my profile first!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've gone to one CS event before, but otherwise can't boast a whole lot of experience. Perhaps you could help me with that hehe :>

Interests

Should i do this in a list? Sure!

-Music (who isn't in some way)
-Travel (something i think we all have in common here)
-Culture
-New Foods!
-Animals
-HISTORY
-Science
-Reading
-Philosophy
-Meditating at any given moment in my life on a single space within it, and being able to find something new about what was once insignificant.
-The Sitar ( i want to learn to play it!)
-Languages! ( i really would love to know as many as possible, it just takes time to learn them, but i hope in my travels i can learn more than i know now)
-Art of ANY kind.
-Theater and Classical Music!

MUCH MUCH more could be added to this list, and maybe it should, but time is an issue right now- so i invite you to have a conversation with me, and let the discovery of one another begin!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a HUGE movie fanatic and i love to watch them.

So i wont even begin to try an list out all the movies i have come to love and memorize like a good song.

But i do love movies, haha. So, if you do too- we are certain to get along as i am always looking to see a new movie. I am picky about them sort of, because i don't like predictable plots too much- yet i will always give a movie at least one viewing, you can never judge a book, OR movie by its cover.

Speaking of books, i really love the Harry Potter series ( I know this might seem over played, but I'm sure you or at least someone you KNOW likes them too ha), i also really enjoyed this book by Raymond Chandler called the Big Sleep, they even made a movie about it (it's old and in black and white, fitting for how old the book itself is...1930's)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things i can recall (other than the birth and life of my son) are the mountains of the West coast, and from that moment on I knew what i must do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to make a gumbo if you've got anything neat to show me.
I am always looking to learn more musically, as i play the guitar and piano (:

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a good conversation, and stories, lots of stories, one for every occasion nearly hah.
You can expect me to be very open, polite and clean.
