Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new but I'm excited to meet locals in the various places I visit. I'm hoping to host friends from around the world once I settle down in Seattle again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had a crazy "floor" surfing experience in London last year. Slept in a tiny, tiny flat with a three friends. Met locals and took in the sites. Having traveled over the past five months for work, I've been couch surfing at friends places around Seattle while I look for a place. I guess you could say I've been couch surfing since early September!
Interests
Discovering new music, going to concerts, enjoying good coffee, baseball, singing, Seattle, spending time with good friends, watching movies, traveling the world and experiencing different cultures, taking pictures, reading a good book, global issues, tackling poverty and the systems that cause this injustice and discovering the heart of God.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer we drove from Zurich, Switzerland to Lake Como in Italy. Our host in Zurich thought the main highway would be packed with weekend travelers so we opted for a route off the beaten path. This took us on one of the most beautiful rides of my life. Through the Swiss and Italian alps, literally crossing the boarder on top of a mountain.
In Japan several years ago we experienced a traditional zen Buddhist meditation. Many in our group we skeptical before our experience but it was calming, centering and brought us much closer to an aspect of Japan's culture or people.
