HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used couch surfing since 2010. I have been to many meet ups and also I have organized some. I have had nothing but amazing experiences using this website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Rooftop party, watching the sun rise in Dublin. Hanging out with Keith and Shawn. Sleeping on a kitchen floor. Organized a bbq on Brighton beach.... and then a BBQ under a bench shelter. (damn English weather) Karaoke in Copenhagen and making pasta at 5am.
An InterRail adventure with a couchsurfer I met from the travel companions group. Day 10 of our adventure - Frederico asked "when are you going to eat your banana"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to pick one!

I saw a meteor that looked like it was about to end my life.

I made friends with a Northern Hawk Owl in the North of Norway, he left me after three days.
I've never felt so alone.

Multi colour clouds in the North! (Later I found out they're not so magical and mostly due to pollution. )

I lived in a cabin in a Finnish forest with no running water or electricity - there was some weird paranormal stuff going on there.

Spending eight months in the Arctic circle. Being mum to nineteen Siberian husky puppies and now one of those puppies travels with me.

100 mile sled trip in the Alaskan wilderness.

Sitting on reindeer hide on a frozen lake in Finland, smoking cigarettes and drinking beer. Listening to the ice crack beneath us....

A road trip in Iceland... That resulted to hitchhiking to a police station ..
