ABOUT ME

NOTE: I'm allergic to animals :( Love them but can't stay with indoor animals.

I have a very curious and friendly spirit. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I love to hear & tell travel stories and I love the beach towns. I can be a bit reserved or shy when you first meet me but once I feel comfortable I can laugh as hard as others. I love visiting new places and really seeing the place from different angles. The number one thing I have learned in my journeys is be happy. Everything else will come together if you do things that make you feel good and make you happy.

PHILOSOPHY

Each day I try to be wiser than I was the day before & Plan for tomorrow but live for today.

Depends on the event, location and or topic. I love to volunteer as it helps you meet new people and contribute to something that is important and or fun. If I can help I always try to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Has been really positive! Stayed with a guy in FL, a bit mundane as his favorite thing to do was flirt with waitresses at the local big restaurant - very nice guy. In TX I couch surfed with an older women who was learning to be a film maker and taught me a few things about sewing. I introduced her to Burner type clothing so she could meet new people and sell a few things to help with her schooling. Another women in TX was a blast. She introduced me to so many new things - we still talk to each other online 2 years later. I’m currently in Santa Cruz and my current temporary roommates are college students and super nice.

Interests

Smell of rain - it really does smell different in different cities. I listen to several different types of music. I'm a big sci fi / fantasy movie fan and fave books include Once Upon an Enchanted Time, Tuesdays With Mory, Under The Fang, Don't Count On The Prince, Confessions of a Media Man, Drizzt series, Tales of A Female Nomad & One Day I'll Be Invincible

My cross country travels. I've met so many nice, friendly and amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I host an art class for a local homeless community center and I'm an upcycle artist starting to make window sun charm strands to sell and barter with when I travel. I’m great at customer service, tutoring others in basic computers and marketing / SEM and brainstorming. I'm pretty good at event coordination and internet research. I cook a little and I'm not afraid of house work. But because I have a back issue and asthma I do have limitations. I'm a whiz at finding things online and I'm not too bad at making Kombucha tea.
