About Me

29.08.2015 - I left my appartment in Berlin for good, to travel around the world. That is, why I am not accepting guest, because I don't have a place anymore. It was a great and awesome time with everyone who stayed in my place, and as soon as I have a little bit of space that I will call my own, you are all welcome again. But from time to time in the next year, I will be only your surfer.

14.09.2015 I just spend a great week on Faroe Islands and I am of to Iceland for a while

31.09.2015 Just such an amazing time in Island

14.12.2015 My time in the US is almost over. I was happy to see many Familymembers again, visit cultural events, tasted some really great beer (says a german guy about american beer...).

25.12.2015
Most memorable Christmas with good Friends in Mexico!

17.01.2016
Cook Island have been my favorite stop so far. Yes, it was terrible hot, that I just took my close in the shower and washed them right away. Many adventures on hikes, as I even got followed by a rooster going to the needle and later guided by the two most loving and intelligent dogs I ever met on a realy wonderfull track to a mountain top through the bush.

##.##.2016
New Zealand to come
So far a other amazing experience to hike up the 90 Mile Beach all the way to Cape Reinga...
I want to come back!

My motto - "don't worry, be happy" - sometimes correlate with my attitude towards life -" enjoy what you are doing "- when I feel very comitted to do/get/finish/achieve something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I Do Couchsurfing for:
Meetings - I love to spontaneously create a potluck or some other kind of meeting for Games (no Computer Games) or any other good reason, like just for fun ;)

Hosting - I like to host people from everywhere, and listen to their stories, go out to some place and show the city as good as I know it.

Surfing - For the great opportunity to get in touch with the people of a city I am visiting

In the Past I was working in the Backend of Couchsurfing, when it had it's own Database of locations. I fixed a lot of problems there, to make it possible for everyone to find a couch at the right place and to sign up to this great site in the first place. I was also on the "Answering your questions", because questions are made to be answered ;)

So far I only expirienced a realy uncomplicated and great community and found some friends for life :)
Year 1: hosting and surfing and meeting and moving from apartment to apartment :D.
Year 2: really getting to know great people
Year 3: met even more people, found some real good friends and more surfing, hosting, meeting and helping people move from apartment to apartment :D
Year 4: Expiriencing how it is to be a host in a metropole.
Year 5: Still having the friends from the first Years :)

Music, Movies, and Books

It depends on my mood, dude! Something sometimes slow, sometimes fast but fure sure hand made music :) and for movies it's changing between some stupid action or funny animated stuff to crime thriller and sometimes historic and thought-provoking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on a hike to a mountain top. My guides: the two most loving and intelligent dogs in the world! After a short while, I understood them and a little later forgot that they are actualy dogs and we became a team with the same goal. Enjoy the hike through the bush.
