To create my own space and my own place in my new city.

ABOUT ME

I'm In university and working close to full time hours and am looking to become more politically active as I acquire more time and space.

I suppose I'm decent at writing and at proofing my work. I get good grades and I'm a pretty good poker player. Maybe a few other things...

I spend a lot of time thinking about Politics, metaphysics, the future, and anything that makes me feel nostalgic, among other things.

PHILOSOPHY

Social democracy without the social democrats. :-)

Freedom without the right authority to exploit or oppress. :-)

Many are marginalized because the lifestyles and preferences of the majority are presented by the media and by the profiteers as being normal (and hence to blame for ludicrous machismo and heteronormativism).

Infrastructure and land are public goods; the profit motive should be limited in scope to that which can be achieved through innovation and further limited via the parameters of social and economic justice.

Money sustains life as we live it, but should not be an end of itself

Popular things aren't good because they're popular, but not necessarily bad because of it.

I'm a geek, I'm political, I'm really into following hockey these past few years...There's just a lot of things I like. Casual games of bowling and mini putt are great fun, as inept as I ma be at the former.

TV? Don't have cable, but I do have one one those I watch a few shows, random things on YouTube, Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, Fox cartoons, newscasts...Nothing too heavy I guess. The Internet is my television.
