About Me
Hello everyone!
As a short introduction, my name is Rémy, originally from France and living in Berlin since almost 5 years now.
I work in a legal department and enjoy my free time exploring this crazy city that Berlin is, enjoying its positive mood, its bars and clubs :). I will be more than happy to host and eventually hang out with visitors in Berlin, and would love to experience the same when visitings others cities :) As a very relaxed and positive guy, I am excited to meet other easy going members of the CS community. I am gay 🏳️🌈, always treating people with respect and of course expecting the same :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS is for me a fantastic opportunity to host members of the community, allowing me at the same time to meet people that I would never meet otherwise. Helping people who need a cost and/or curious to know more about where I live is very valuable. I would expect to live the same experience while travel around the world.
Interests
Everything can be a source of interest from my side, such as music, art, cinema, architecture, photographie :) I am always willing to discover others center of interest, so for sure my list could be much bigger.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Amy Winehouse (all the albums and all the songs). When I said I was easy going.
Film: See You Up There (2017 - Albert Dupontel, inspired from Pierre Lemaitre's book "Au revoir là-haut")
Book: The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair (2014 - Joël Dicker)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's a CS story I would like to share. A few years ago, I hosted someone from Berlin. To thank me, he invited me in his city (Berlin) a few months after. This invitation totally changed my life as I decided to leave everything behind me to start a new life in Berlin. 5 years after I am still living in Berlin 🇩🇪 and will never regret my choice.
Teach, Learn, Share
I spend the last years teaching my tandem partner my mother language (french). In return he taught me German. I was probably too good teaching him as he will move to Paris in September 2023. Now, looking for a new tandem partner.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to spend time with my hosts, understanding their culture. Of course sharing a meal together is always appreciated ;)
