ABOUT ME

I finished University February 2010 and spent some time in New Zealand afterwards- working and traveling.. Right now I am teaching at a reform orientated school that is trying to go and develop new ways of school standards. Exciting, rewarding but really time taking.

I love traveling and living at other places for some time, best way to get to know a country is to live there. I also love showing people my city and culture!!!

I enjoy listening to music (singer song writer, alternative- indie, electro) , going on concerts, cooking!!! watching a good film...I love playing foosball (table soccer) and beach volleyball. I appreciate a good discussion and also talking about nonsense.
My friends are likely to describe me as a warm hearted outgoing person who wants to change the world and fun to hang out with.
And I am a vegetarian... if that is to be positive depends on you really :)

Music, Movies, and Books

The perfect day is one with music. There is always a tune in my head. I love watching scenes while listening to music realising it totally fits. There is a new favourite band or song everyday, so here are just a few examples of bands/artists I enjoy: Bon Iver, Yann Thiersen, This will destroy you, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Emmy the Great, The Kills, The Knife, Fever Ray, Warren Suicid, Trentemöller, Muse, Patti Smith, Bonnie Prince Billy, The National, Metronomy, Bat for Lashes, The Naked and the Famous, Empire of the Sun, Get well soon....As you see a selection of Electro, Post Rock, Rock, Indie, Singer Song Writer also 50ies/60ies music is likely to be found somewhere on my collection.The last books I read were "Drop City" by T.C. Boyle and by Mark Haddon: "The curious indicent of the dog at night" which is about a kid with Asperger's syndrom.
But I read like a maniac... I love going to the cinema. So, lets talk about films ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First of all: Being able to travel down to New Zealand without booking a hostel in advance or making arrangements for a couch. I just believed everything will turn out to be perfect. And it was. The world is an amazing place.

Some years ago i had to see how my mum almost died and since then i appreciate every single day and hour i am able to spent at this world and with the people i like ... never forget to say them how much you love them
