Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

My coach surfing experiences started in Barcelona, in the summer of 2009. Through a mutual friend, I stumbled upon an ERASMUS meeting. However, most of the students were couch surfers, and I ended up going to several of the organised beach parties. Since then I have travelled with the people who introduced me to the culture, and it has inspired to host and surf more in the future.

I hope to host and surf with some cool people. I'm proud to be from such a vibrant and multicultural city and enjoy showing people around my favourite parts. However, I'm not a total expert! So it will also be a great experience for me to learn about and explore my city.

• Staying on a boat with a great friend on Barceloneta marina.

• Visiting whakarewarewa, a small Maori thermal village near Rotorua in New Zealand.

• Experiencing the madness of the annual Catalan festival La Mercè and a Messi hat-trick at the Camp Nou.

• Shanghai Expo 2010 - 32 hour round coach trip from Shanghai to Beijing, with only four breaks!

• Climbing the greased pole at La Tomatina 2010, and only loosing my phone in the process.

• My great American Adventure: Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Salinas, Las Vegas, LA and San Diego.

• Living in suburban LA with some of the coolest people in the world. Partying in Hollywood, Vegas, Palm Springs and Gaslamp Quarter.

• Mini Eurotrip with Dan and Charlotte. Visiting Paris, Nice, Cannes and partying the week away in Barcelona!

• Spending new year in Taipei with a CS friend eating amazing food, visiting every 7-11 and watching the fireworks at Taipei 101.

One of the goals I have always set myself is to live in another country for a year. I would love this to be in a country with a different culture.
