I'd like to do some traveling outside of the United States.

ABOUT ME

Most people say that I am quiet, shy, and reserved. And I guess I will have to agree with them. However, once I get to know and feel comfortable with you I open up and I am quite chatty. I guess a good word to describe me is cautious.
I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs.
I have 3 wonderful grown children and 4 amazing grandchildren that are equally wonderful. Family means a lot to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed a couple of times, both were positive experiences. Highly recommend couchsurfing.

Interests

Gardening, art, music, movies, easy walking, card and boardgames, and family. I like poking around thrift stores, although I don't buy as much as I use to. I'm in the stage of life where I am starting to unload all the things that I thought I needed to buy throughout the years...you know the script, right?

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is the Wizard of Oz. I want to be Dorothy, travel to another land, open the door and be wowed by the beauty, the culture, and the people. And like Dorothy, I believe "There's no place like home."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was happily married to the same man for 43 years. In today's world that is quite an accomplishment.
In 2013 I took a huge step out of my comfort zone. I planned and took a trip by myself to France and to Prague. What I learned from that trip is that I can be self-suffient and not afraid, but also I learned that it is better to have someone to share those experiences. It was fun but, I was lonely surrounded by people.
