ABOUT ME

Having taken some risks, I'm now beginning yet another journey in education and the military; both of which will be difficult, but very ambitious. I hope to work in some travels in between school and service, but will definitely be able to once these commitments are complete in several years.
I'm looking to become skilled in mountaineering, and need to relocate to do so. I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, camping, biking (if my fixed gear hadn't been stolen!!!), running, Crossfit, cooking, reading, music (listening, no patience to play it unfortunately!), trying new things, travel (when I can afford it!), sustainability, and probably a slew of other things I've forgotten the joys of!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've unofficially couchsurfed; staying with friends in DC, NYC, Philadelphia, California, and Charleston, but haven't been able to host much, having lived at home or in boring places (Milledgeville GA, my college town is pretty dull!)

Free Soloed a ~90 foot rock face, Freakin Basic Training/Army OCS, Driven cross country, graduated college finally, et cetera

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm. Well I've replaced head gaskets, changed a timing belt, rebuilt a rear axle, but I can also tie a bowtie, build furniture, draw pretty well, cook ok, compound specialty medication, et cetera. I like gardening/landscaping and learning about sustainability too. Basically I'd like to learn how to do most anything, and hopefully do it well. Dancing and proficiency in foreign languages are my next goals, as well as traveling and traveling well.
