About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel to every continent and circumnavigate the globe.

ABOUT ME

I'm a nerd and a comedy writer who lives in Brooklyn. I want to eat my way around the world. Twice.

PHILOSOPHY

Go big or go home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch Surfing has been a great way to meet people from all over the world! I have not hosted yet, but now that I have my own (tiny!) apartment, I'm open to it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my favorite parts of my trip to India was staying in the homes of locals - in this case, friends of friends.

I also stayed with the family of my traveling buddy on my trip to Slovenia.

In Turkey, I somehow was the only person staying in my hostel. Luckily I found some Couch Surfing events to attend and made a bunch of new friends!

Interests

Screenwriting, geeky TV shows, making my own web series, comedy, riding bicycles, food, culture, travel (of course!).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a screenwriter and pretty obsessed with TV, especially comedy and sci fi/fantasy. I've been a Trekkie since childhood, and right now I'm also watching a lot of Game Of Thrones, True Detective, Broad City, Brooklyn 99, and Parks & Rec.

I make a web series, so I also watch a lot of web series. The Guild is a pretty notable favorite.

Favorite music: lately I've been listening to a lot of folky roots music like Ray LaMontagne, the Avett Brothers, and the like.

Favorite books: The Amazing Adventures Of Kavalier And Clay is way up there.

Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson, early funny Woody Allen, anything Charlie Kaufmann ever wrote.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting an all-female rugby team on a train going through the Punjab in India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to make authentic Cajun gumbo. I'm also a dairy wizard - if you've ever wanted to make cheese, yogurt, or butter, I'm your girl. Want to know any weird fact about history, art, or culture? I can probably fill you in.

While I do all that stuff, I'm also happy to give you fashion advice, download you some new music, and tell you crazy stories about my adventures.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, India, Italy, Peru, Slovenia, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
