About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I grew up and went to university in beautiful Montana, USA. After graduating, I decided to experience the other side of the world so I moved to Taiwan, mostly teaching English while developing my photography and music, and using the island as a base for more travelling. I fell in love with Taiwanese food and people, but I knew it was time to head back to see what the states felt like again. I thrive on making changes in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Be true to yourself, communicate openly with those you care about, let go of your ego, and never stop learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been moving moving moving for the last three years. Now it's time I offer you my place to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I lived in Montana I offered up my couch a few times. I used couchsurfing very infrequently until now that I live in a city with plenty of travelers.

Interests

I'm passionate about making music, taking photos, designing anything, dancing, and learning languages. Right now I try to spend the weekends getting jiggy to low frequency dance music on clean giant sound systems!

If you like staying up reeeally late and dancing into the next day, you'll probably like coming out with us on the weekends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love local music everywhere. I've played guitar in a few bands, but right now I'm most interested in making and mixing electronic music. I like deeeep house. I like seeing people dance to my music.

I'll read just about anything. Ayn Rand is one bad woman but I'm in love with "The Fountainhead". It teaches people to live by their own standards instead of trying to impress other people their whole lives. Unfortunately Ayn Rand hated helping people and would most definitely hate couchsurfers. I've read George Orwell's 1984 more than any other book. scary, true.

There's lots of good movies out there, but I like documentaries the best. Boring, you say? no way! the truth is always more exciting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning man 2012 was the best week of my life )'(

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you how to say bad words in Chinese and Hindi. You can bang a bang bang on whatever musical instruments I have laying around.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Spain, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
