About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make friends and discover new lands!

ABOUT ME

Currently, I want to develop myself as much as i can before i settle down with a career, mortgage, car, and all that good ol' North American shtuff. I've given myself a few years to... travel, meet all sorts of people, experience all sorts of things, learn new skills, start new jobs, etc. because I believe these things will help me learn about myself, and they're fun!

PHILOSOPHY

I think honesty is the cornerstone to being a better person. Being up front and direct about things reduces problems. And recently, taking a moment to really objectively inspect the situation your in and discover what the right and moral thing to do is…..and then do it. its sometimes hard, but it feels good to do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have actively used couch surfing for over a year now and have met some of the best and coolest people i know with it! So far, i have used it for surfing, and meeting new friends while traveling. I would have liked to try hosting, but i was traveling the while time. BUT! now i am back home in canada and might be able to host!! so i am excited to finally be able to give back and pay it forward. It will be a big thank you to all my previous hosts who have been nothing but amazing and inspiring!
I am grateful for all the amazing cultural experiences I've had. The generosity I've come across has been life changing, as i think it has made me a better, and more generous person. They showed me just how amazing this project is. Making friends out of strangers and leaving your trust with them is a rewarding feeling; It makes me feel more human, it makes me feel like theres a community in this massive world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A magical strangling fig tree in Monteverde, Costa Rica. It killed the tree within it and formed a tube of interconnecting roots around where the trunk used to be. It was a shell of a hallow tree trunk. The shell was tangled, twisted, and twined roots. When you squeezed inside, you saw that nature designed it perfectly to be climbed! We climbed up the root network tunnel all the way to the top and enjoyed the view above the forest canopy.
Little corn island very well may be the ultimate paradise island. Amazing scuba diving, breathtaking isolated beaches, chilled out atmosphere. It is a no stress zone full of friendly people and beautiful scenery. my scuba diving love started here with Cave scuba dives, and night dives.
Also did some snorkling with hammer head sharks below, and got stalked by a barracuda!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have my degree in psychology, thats very cool to discuss if youre interested! I would love to learn how to hypnotize! NLP and hypnotherapy has always been really interesting to me, but courses and classes are always soooo expensive. And learning more music instruments is in the plan.
I can fix windshields with the right tools! I've bartender a bit, i play the drums.
