ABOUT ME

In 2009, after 9 long years at the university I finally started my 'responsible' life :) I started to work as an English teacher in a language school. I like teaching a lot, especially because I can meet loads of different people and we often have to work together for a long time so at the end we almost know everything about each other's life and way of thinking.
Obviously, I love travelling and spending longer periods abroad so I can experience what it is like to be the part of a different culture. I've done some voluntary work in Italy, I've looked after kids in English summer camps, I've taught English in a Sicilian vocational school and I hope I can do a lot more..
I'm very optimistic, outgoing and I have a burning curiosity about the diversity of the world.
I love to get to know as many people as I can, hear and tell stories, and to know that life can never be boring as long as there are beautiful places to visit and amazing people to meet.

PHILOSOPHY

A lot of things are constantly changing in me as my life goes on, as the world changes around me, but there are two things I always try to do among all kind of circumstances. I always try to be faithful and honest with other people and with myself and after difficult periods in my life I always try to get to the bright and funny side of life again as soon as possible, because there is no time to waste :)

It's quite simple: I surf when I travel and I host when I'm settled :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed and hosted, as well, and I can't decide which is better :) It's amazing to meet random people from all over the world to spend a very short and intensive time with them to get to know their life, their plans, their dreams, their accent, their humour and to feel with a very few of them that you sort of become close friends and departing will be bloody difficult...

Interessi

I studied Hungarian and English literature and Aesthetics at the university so I'm interested in everything related to arts: theatre, books, films, drama, exhibitions etc. I love exploring cities, knowing eveything about their beauty and uniqueness, discovering their hidden places.
I like doing sports, I'm a big cycler and swimmer. In my freetime I often go hiking or on bicycle tours.
And what amazes me most is to know as much about other cultures as it is possible including people's view of life, the language, the architecture, music, food, habits etc. When I travel somewhere I always try to be the part of the everyday life there.
