ABOUT ME

I live a dynamic life which currently is a combination of a lot of work, good deal of travel and a bit of hobbies and sports. My travels often happen because of business, nevertheless I usually try to chip in a few days to explore new destinations. I usually fall in love with a local language wherever I go, which creates an on-going dilemma which language to learn (as before I have a chance to learn one, I get excited about another). Nevertheless, I have managed to decide on German (current project), French (coming soon), and Spanish (hopefully some time in the future). Hence, CS for me is not just a way to meet new people, learn about new cultures, but also a fun way to improve my languages.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have returned to my home city of Lviv about a year ago after a decade of living elsewhere. I love the city and enjoy showing people around and helping to design a sightseeing program. Since I travelled extensively for both fun and work throughout the country, I can also help with ideas for seeing other regions. In particular, I have spent several years doing a photography project on a remote mountanious region in Western Ukraine, Gutsulschyna, where life is still very much the same as it was hundreds years ago, and can tell you a lot about it.

A CS skiing event in Switzerland, plus meeting CSers in all parts of the world...

Interests

Always - languages.
Currently - cycling, skiing and scuba diving.
In the past (possibly also future) - documentary photography (spend enormous time documenting life in Gutsulschyna region in Ukraine).
