About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Pixelate the world

ABOUT ME

... this portait is my first and only picture when I applied for jobs after university. I am not this person anymore :-). I am a free artist now working with post-it note and doing stopmotion films.

PHILOSOPHY

I follow my gut feeling. Its O.K. to not have only one calling but several. Spend as much time as possible with the people you love in place you want to be on a thing you are passionate about. I prefer a deep conversation over small talk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel and I would also host people from time to time at my apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfer: I did couchsurfing two times with my wife already. Once we stayed in Padua, Italy with host and once we stayed in Antwerp with a nice Indian couple.
Host: I have never hosted a couchsurfer but have hosted on Airbnb. I already hat 3 German guests, 1 Russian, 1 Swiss and one Japanese and 2 guests Bulgaria. You can find my reviews here https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/593229. I will host all people that host for free and also when I do not have an Airbnb request.

Interests

Creating Pixel Art. Making things. This year I welded my own cargo bike, made a window farm, painted my whole apartment with whiteboard paint and made two tabels for my home studio. Doing stopmotion videos. Drawing.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many. The books I am reading at the moment is the "4-hour chef" by Tim Ferris and "How to be an Explorer of the world". I love to cook and to explore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first skydiving jump with my future wife. When I asked my wife to marry me (New Years 2010).
