Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

stayed at some places in egypt on our two egypt trips in 2006. was great. also couchsurfed in france, spain, the United Arab Emirates and morocco. but sometimes also over the hospitality club. hosted only three times sofar . and all of them were americans(apparently my town is not that attractive for foreigners:)-->not my opinion!). went to egypt again in 2009/2010 and a nice friend from CS found us an accommodation and helped us out in many things mashallah. oh and acutally in cairo we once hosted a german guy, too.

movies: the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, jackie chan films, films by the german comedians helge schneider and heinz erhardt, terkel in trouble, monty python films (i must say, this is what i wrote BEFORE my conversion^^ ever since i havent really watched any films acutally)

music: dawud wharnsby ali, zain bhikha, yusuf islam, ahmed bukhatir

books/authors: al quran, moliere, oscar wilde, paul auster's "country of the last things", a lot of philosophical stuff (e.g.plato)
