ABOUT ME

Hi everbody!

I'm teacher... and also "cyclotraveller"... I love to teach, but I need to learn more and more, and traveling is the best way for learn new things about the people, about the world, and also, about me!

I did the silk road by bicycle, or maybe overland (because I did hitchhiking many times :-) and now I'm thinking in other trips.

For the moment I'm gonna be in Catalonia for several months, working in my lovely job, but waiting for start again! So... If you are near and you want to enjoy with me with the landscape of my country, or tasting some "Ratafia" and dancing with Mediterranean music... You are welcome!!

I work Mon-Fri... so, during the course is difficult for me host people... But in summer or Christmas, or every weekend it's perfect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a little town, one hour from BCN, for this reason I recive few requests. I work monday to friday and it's dificult for me host people without own vehicle.

When I'm in holiday, often I invite surfers and I bring to diferent interesting places, but I only can do it twice every year, more or less.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience can be summarized in few words: learn, grow, laught, and have a nice time. Every time that I'm hosted, or I host somebody, one of this things appears sure!

One of best things that I've never done!

Interests

Travel is my biggest passion, but also I enjoy playing a guitar, enjoy of live concerts, or drinking some beer with my friends or new people... I'm not interested to rest in my home! Just this!

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of films, and books, and bands...

Films: "Pay it forward", "Fight Club" "V for Vendetta", "Into the wild"... and hundreds more.

Books: "Mutant Message Down Under", "The Pillars of the Earth", thousands more... I love stories about travels.

Music: In first place I must to said a friends band, that I thing that maybe it's interesting for everybody, Txarangö. I love rumba, rock, ska, reggae, folk of every country... And all the music that it's easy for dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept with a snake in my legs into the Sahara.

I did snorkel with a shark in the key largo, and also in Thailand.

I jumped to the second most tall bungee jump of the world. 160 m falling.

I've seen milions of fireflies into the jungle like funny elves.

I've played a hide-and-seek with a savage rinoceront in Chitwan.

I've rowed between cocodriles.

I climbed seven mountains of 5.000m and one of 6.000... Next one...7.000! Where? We will see...

I've seen two wild elephants copulating...

I've been kidnaped for 26 hours... Better don't talk about this!

I did hitchhiking with two friend and three sheep.

I've slept directly on the snow, minus nine degrees.

I've slept alone in a forest with bears in Canada.

I've done Annapurna Circuit by bicycle, alone...and sick! And I got it!

I lived alone (for three days) in a lonely island in the paradise. (Just with to dogs and a lot of monkeys).

I wake up every day with a smile for go to work with the kids.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the guitar, but every day a little bit less.

I can share my country... I can show the nature that there are here, and the most important cities and monuments.
