ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going person that loves to travel and experience new things. Love to try new foods, wines, and beers from different countries.

I am going into my last year of dental school.

Been throughout Canada and Eastern USA, Nicaragua, Ireland, UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Poland as well as the Caribbean, but never to Asia, Australia or South America, all places I hope to one day experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Want to see and experience as much of the world and different cultures as possible. Not able to travel now with school but want to travel by hosting people from around the world. The world is too big and fascinating to live my whole life in North America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfed in Europe and Nicaragua and have hosted a few people on my couch in Toronto. I am really busy with dental school but will still make an effort to try and host people. I live with my girlfriend who is also a couchsurfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was lucky enough to be hosted one summer in London, Munich, and Erlangen for the "Berg". The next summer I was hosted in Bruges, Berlin, Salzburg, Prague, Krakow, Ljubljana, and Barcelona. Last summer I was also hosted in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. I hosted my host in Berlin and a few other from around the world. Have had a great time and hope to meet more people from around the world.

Interests

Love to play golf, cycle, baseball, basketball, hockey, football(American and European), volleyball, squash, tennis, weighlift, fish, ski, snowboard, scuba dive and travel.

Love to cook and taste new foods.

Helping people, one of the reason I like couchsurfing so much. Also the reason I went into healthcare, ultimately deciding to attend dental school.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like all kinds of music but heavy metal. Alternative and classical rock are my favourite.

Love espionage novels/movies, medical thrillers, and the Lord of the Rings.

Love all Paul Newman films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in the Swiss Alps. Caught a shark off the coast of Florida. Climbed to the peak of Mount Rundle in Banff National Park and the Schilthorn in Bernese Alps. Surfed in San Juan del Sur.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything dentistry related. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing tips. If you have a fishing rod I can teach how to cast a lure over someone's shoulder, loop it down between their legs and land it in a hat they are holding. Golf knowledge. Cooking skills. Wine knowledge from course in university.
